United scouts eye new French magician
Manchester United are tracking Montpellier's French Under-21 midfielder Remy Cabella after his stunning chipped goal last week.
Scouts from United, Newcastle and Liverpool saw Remy score with a deft finish in France Under-21s 3-0 win over Kazakhstan last Friday. The 22-year-old could be set for a big season next term after breaking into the Montpellier side on a regular basis as they clinched the Ligue 1 title last season. Meanwhile United are still favourites to sign teenage Chilean hotshot Angelo Henriquez despite increasing interest from Europe in the Universidad de Chile striker. The 18-year-old was kept quiet in La U's 2-0 Copa Libertadores semi-final defeat to Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires last night - where he was watched by Juventus scouts. United are confident that they have closed off a future deal for Henriquez by paying for first option on the young hitman who has also been interesting Borussia Dortmund.
