United star set for comeback
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed defender Rafael da Silva is close to a return from injury.
The Brazilian hasn't featured since the Community Shield win over Manchester City after suffering a dislocated shoulder in training but Ferguson has now confirmed he is close to making a return to first-team action.
"Rafael is training," said Ferguson.
"He has been for over a week now. The contact situation is something we're aware about. It was a big operation on his shoulder.
"We hope we can maybe fit a Reserves game in for him but he's coming along fine. There is no setback or anything like that, he's been training every day."
