United striker wanted 'in Hell'

Galatasaray are still interested in Dimitar Berbatov but the Manchester United striker would prefer to stay in a major European league.
Galatasaray president Unal Aysal is a long-standing admirer of the 31-year-old Bulgarian who has become a marginal figure at Old Trafford in the last 18 months. Aysal is quoted as saying on gol.bg. "The Bulgarian is a great forward - I want him to join us but, of course, coach Fatih Terim has the final word." Berbatov, however, is understood to be keen to play for a big club in one of the other important European leagues and may not consider the Turkish Super Lig to be that attractive. His agent, Emil Danchev, has already said that the ex-Spurs star does not want to play for another Premier League club while Sir Alex Ferguson is unlikely to keep him around, despite taking up the option to extend his contract by a year in March - to ensure United receive a fee for him. Paris St Germain, Lazio and Bayer Leverkusen were all linked to Berbatov earlier this summer but the French giants have a surfeit of strikers and seemingly don't want another.
