Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he should be able to select Rafael and Fabio for Manchester United's game at Hull on Sunday.
The current Premier League champions have been crippled by injuries to their top defenders in recent weeks with Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick having to fill in at the back.
However, Ferguson revealed on Thursday that he expects Rafael to recover from the foot injury he sustain against Besiktas while Fabio could start having come off the bench in the 3-0 defeat to Fulham.
"We rushed Fabio back a little bit, but given the situation we find ourselves in sometimes you have to do that," admitted the United boss. "Rafa's only trained for a few days but he will be involved on Sunday."
Ferguson went on to say that he hopes to have Wes Brown and Nemanja Vidic back for the game against Wigan on December 30.
