Bolton Wanderers 0-0 Fulham

Match Reports, 17:40, February 6, 2010 ,

Johan Elmander wasted the best chance towards the end of the match in a game devoid of real quality with a point each a fair result.

Elmander only had Schwarzer to beat from Davies' through-ball with just a couple of minutes of regulation time left to play, but he put his effort wide and the match remained scoreless.
The first half was a tame affair with much of the game played in midfield as neither side showed much attacking flair.
There were a number of shots from distance but it was not until the 43rd minute that visiting keeper Mark Schwarzer was really called into action.
The Aussie shot-stopper managed to get his boot on a Mark Davies shot and if flew onto the cross bar.
The second period began in a similar fashion but the hosts began to dominate more as the half wore on.
Efforts from free-kicks continued to hit the walls and shots from distance were high wide and handsome until Elmander's chance of glory.
His miss, however, summed up the match and visiting boss Roy Hodgson will be pleased to take away a point from this dreary encounter.
