Fulham 2-0 Hull City

Match Reports, 22:06, October 19, 2009 ,

Goals in either half from Bobby Zamora and Diomansy Kamara gave Fulham a deserved three points against Hull at Craven Cottage.

It was a disappointing first half, with the only notable efforts coming from Fulham. Zamora fired over from close range on the stretch and Damien Duff saw his shot pushed away by Boaz Myhill.
Fulham did get the break through though two minutes before the break, when Zamora steered home a header after Duff's shot had been parried by the Hull keeper.
The Cottagers started the second half on top and grabbed a crucial second goal on 65 minutes, with Zamora involved once again. The striker broke the offside trap before firing a ball across the box for Kamara to slide into the net.
Clint Dempsey shot inches wide just a minute after the goal and Kamara should have made it three soon after, but missed the target from eight yards out.
The only plus on the night for Hull, who remain in the relegation zone, was the return of Jimmy Bullard, who came on as a second-half substitute.
