Norwich City 0-3 Liverpool
A hat-trick from Luis Suarez was the difference between the two sides at Carrow Road, as Liverpool comfortably saw off Norwich City.
Liverpool came out the brighter of the two teams and Suarez bagged his first goal of the game in the 24th minute, when Steven Gerrard picked up the ball before finding the Uruguayan striker who curled the ball home. The South American bagged his second just five minutes later when he drove into the area and rocketed a shot into the bottom corner to give the visitors a two goal cushion. Norwich were never really at the races on Saturday evening and they made little improvement in the second-half, with Pepe Reina in the Liverpool goal rarely tested. The Reds put the game beyond doubt in the 82nd minute when Suarez saw John Ruddy well off his line, before lobbing the Norwich keeper from near the halfway line to score his first hat-trick for Liverpool, who went on to claim all three points at Carrow Road.
