Portsmouth 3-2 Hull City

Match Reports, 18:46, March 20, 2010 ,

Portsmouth completed an amazing turnaround with two late goals to seal a 3-2 victory against Hull at Fratton Park.

With the Tigers 2-1 up with three minutes to go, the away fans could be forgiven for thinking the win had been wrapped up. However, a curling free-kick from Jamie O'Hara and a neat finish from Kanu a minute later soon changed matters.
Hull City originally took the lead with 27 minutes gone, Craig Fagan had an attempt on goal but his effort deflected off Caleb Folan and took it past David James to open the scoring.
Portsmouth levelled 10 minutes later when Tommy Smith converted home from close range after Hull failed to deal with a Pompey corner.
Folan grabbed his second of the game with 17 minutes left, Garcia was the man in the middle of the move and his pass provided Folan with the assist.
Portsmouth were the better side for long periods of the second half and O'Hara's fantastic free-kick was just reward, Kanu's late winner certainly put a positive shine on what has been a dour season for Pompey so far.
