Stoke sealed their first win of the season after a first-half Peter Crouch double earned a 2-0 win over Swansea.
The home side were fairly comfortable throughout, against a Swansea side who have lost their last three games without scoring, and they took the lead after 11 minutes when Crouch headed home a Glenn Whelan corner, after a Jon Walters shot was saved by Michel Vorm.
Crouch and Stoke doubled their tally in the 36th minute when Vorm initially kept out a Michael Kightly effort and Crouch was able to put in the rebound, depite the best attempts of the Dutch goalkeeper, who managed to get his body to the effort, only to see it still end up in the back of the net.
Swansea didn't really test Asmir Begovic in the Stoke goal, with their best efforts coming through Danny Graham and Luke Moore, who both managed to fire over the bar when well placed inside the area.
