Kevin Nolan scored an injury-time goal to ensure West Ham grabbed a 1-1 draw with Sunderland at Upton Park.
The visitors went ahead after only nine minutes thanks to Steven Fletcher. Defender James Collins gave the ball straight to Sebastian Larsson, who fed Fletcher and the Scottish hit-man dispatched it clinically into the net.
From that point on West Ham dominated the game, with Ricardo Vaz Te and Carlton Cole both missing good chances before Nolan fired an overhead kick just wide of the Sunderland goal on 36 minutes.
Six minutes later the skipper almost pulled West Ham level, but a flying save from Simon Mignolet in the Sunderland goal prevented his smart volley hitting the back of the net.
The second half was more of the same as the Hammers mounted wave-after-wave of attacks and it looked like it wasn't going to be their day once Collins powered a header against the bar on 75 minutes.
But in the 92nd minute Nolan came to the rescue, scoring following a knock-down from substitute Modibo Maiga, to ensure West Ham got a point they deserved after dominating most of the match.
