Wigan Athletic 3-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Wigan end the season on a high as two goals from Emerson Boyce helped them beat Wolves at the DW Stadium.
The game sparked into life as the already-relegated Wolves took the lead on nine minutes, as Matt Jarvis cut in from the wing and curled the ball into the Wigan goal to give Terry Connor's side the lead.
That lead only lasted two minutes, when Stephen Hunt was robbed of possession deep in his own half and the ball came to Franco Di Santo, whose weak shot took a massive deflection on its way into the net.
Wigan took the lead only three minutes later as Boyce was given a free header from a corner to complete a period of three goals in five minutes.
For the rest of the first half, and most of the second, Roberto Martinez's men dominated possession and Di Santo and Beasejour wasted good chances.
Wolves created little and Sylvan Ebanks' Blake and Kevin Doyle failed to beat Ali Al-Habsi when they did have a sight of goal, before Boyce doubled his tally for the day on 79 minutes.
The defender ran onto a knock-down from the departing Hugo Rodallega and blasted a stunning strike with the outside of his boot into the corner of the net.
Substitute Steven Fletcher pulled a goal back on 84 minutes, a simple tap-in after Al-Habsi had saved from Dave Edwards, but it was another miserable day for the Wolves fans.
