Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 Hull City

Match Reports, 17:05, August 29, 2009 ,

Wolves came from behind to draw with Hull and claim their first home point of the season after an entertaining clash at Molineux.

Hull were ahead in the third minute, Geovanni nodding in Stephen Hunt's cross to give the visitors the perfect start. Wolves battled hard in a frantic first half but were matched by Hull's work-rate and didn't come close to levelling before the break.
The equaliser came straight from the restart, Richard Stearman's volley flying past Boaz Myhill to lift the home crowd. Wolves had the better chances to win the game but Andy Keogh dragged an effort wide and substitute Sam Vokes headed past the post in injury-time to leave both sides with four points from their opening four games.
