British doubles number one Colin Fleming is an early doubt for Wimbledon after being ruled out for at least six weeks through injury.

The Scot may also miss the French Open that is coming up and must be viewed as a doubt for SW19 this summer with his preparations being hit by the unknown injury. Fleming, speaking on his Twitter account, revealed he was set to undergo rehab after being forced to withdraw from the Monte Carlo event he was involved in. He said: "Bad news folks. I've withdrawn from the tournament here (in Monte Carlo) with an injury. "Focused on rehab now and hoping to be back on court in six to eight weeks." Fleming is ranked the 25th best doubles player in the world and has been playing with Briton Ross Hutchins in recent times, with the two hoping to enjoy a decent season. However, Fleming's injury now means Hutchins may have to search for a new partner for the next few months.
