Lukas Rosol believes he can now go on to win Wimbledon following his shock victory over Rafael Nadal on Thursday.
Despite having won just three Grand Slam matches in his entire career, the Czech looked inspired against the French Open champion, hitting a string of superb winners, before coolly serving out the contest with three aces to win in five sets.
The result sets up an intriguing third-round tie with German Philipp Kohlschreiber on Saturday with the winner going on to face either Brian Baker or Bruno Paire.
Rosol believes the victory over Nadal could kick-start his career and feels he can now beat anyone at the championships.
"I was just like somewhere else. I believe in myself and knew that I could make it," he said. "I didn't want to show Rafa what was inside me. I was so concentrated and in a trance a little bit.
"I think if I beat Rafa I can beat anyone, it is just tennis and everyone is human. Thus is sport. Everybody can lose and everybody can win. We're just people."
