FedExpress cruises into Halle showpiece
Roger Federer is on course to win his sixth Gerry Weber Open after easing through to the final with a win over Mikhail Youzhny.
After going out in the semi-finals of the French Open, Federer has looked good this week in Halle, and cruised through the first set of his semi-final in just 21 minutes.
The second was a bit more competitive and Youzhny even managed to break the 16-time Grand Slam champion, before Federer recovered to seal a 6-1 6-4 win.
Victory in Germany would give him the perfect preparation for Wimbledon later this month but he won't have it all his own way on Sunday when he faces home favourite Tommy Haas.
