Andy Murray has decided to sack his coach Miles Maclagan following a disagreement ahead of this week's Farmers Classic event in LA.

The 23-year-old British number one had worked with the 35-year-old for the past two-and-a-half years, but opted to axe Maclagan in the build up to the Los Angeles tournament which he is using as preparation for next month's US Open at Flushing Meadows.
Murray's 'clay court coach' Alex Corretja will stay in his backroom staff for the US hardcourt season along with strength and conditioning coach Jez Green, physio Andy Ireland and Matt Little.
Maclagan said: "It's been a privilege to work with Andy as his coach and I'm happy to have played my part in his career. I also want to thank the team for all their hard work over the years and I will miss working with them and Andy on a day-to-day basis.
"Andy is a great player and I know he will continue to have the success his talent and hard work deserves."
Murray added on his website: "I've had a great relationship with Miles over the past two-and-a-half years and I want to thank him for his positive contribution to my career. We have had a lot of success and fun working together."
