Murray explains change in coach

Men's Tennis, 19:20, July 29, 2010 ,

World number four Andy Murray has stated that he drifted apart from his former coach Miles Maclagan.

The Scot made an announcement on Tuesday that the pair had parted ways only four weeks before the start of the US Open.
Murray has had a mixed season, showing probably his best tennis of the year at Wimbledon where he was knocked out in the semi-final by eventual winner Rafael Nadal.
The 23-year-old believed it was the right time to part company with his Maclagan.
He said: "It obviously was a hard decision and one that wasn't the nicest thing to have to take.
"It wasn't that tough to make up my mind because we were quite far apart in what we thought."
