Andy Murray brushed off his injury concerns to record a comprehensive straight-sets victory over Santiago Giraldo on Saturday.
The British number one looked in all sorts of trouble in his previous clash with Jarkko Nieminen and appeared to be close to quitting due to a back injury, but he managed to rally to take out the Finn in four sets.
And the Scot will be pleased that he came through that encounter after easing to a 6-3 6-4 6-4 victory on Saturday and booking his place in the fourth round of the French Open.
The Colombian was tipped to give Murray a real test, especially with fitness concerns over the world number four, but the Brit was just too strong and showed no ill effects from his previous outing in Paris.
The three-time Grand Slam finalist needed just one break of serve in each set to take the match and he was always in control of the contest and he will now play Richard Gasquet after the Frenchman beat Tommy Haas in four sets.
