Nadal triumphs again at Wimbledon
Men's Tennis, 16:58, July 4, 2010 ,
World number one Rafael Nadal has won Wimbledon for the second time following a straight-sets victory over Tomas Berdych.
The second seed secured his eighth Grand Slam title with a convincing 6-3 7-5 6-4 win over 12th seed Berdych on Centre Court on Sunday.
The match lasted two hours and 13 minutes and the Spaniard, who was unable to defend his 2008 success at the All England Club last year due to injury, has now won 14 straight matches at Wimbledon.
Nadal will now try to win the US Open for the first time later this year while Berdych, who had beaten top seed Roger Federer and third seed Novak Djokovic on his way to the final, will look to build on his impressive performances in SW19 and continue to move up the rankings.
