Watson positive for Wimbledon test
Heather Watson is hoping to use her experience at the French Open to at least try and reach the second round of Wimbledon this season.
The Brit is set to go up against Czech star Iveta Benesova in her first-round tie at her home Grand Slam and is looking to equal her efforts at Roland Garros by reaching the second stage.
Watson impressed on clay in France and is hoping that on her preferred grass surface, and backed by the home crowd, she will be able to go far in the competition this time around.
She said: "I was pleased with my Paris run but was still disappointed - I wanted to get further than I did.
"At Wimbledon I always want to do especially well, because it's at home and on the grass.
"I'm loving the grass. I've had time to get used to it and adapt my game.
"I will take it match by match but hopefully it will take me far."
