Serena Williams feels she will be fit for the French Open later this month, despite being forced to withdraw from the Italian Open.
The world number six was set to face China's Li Na in the last four in Rome, but decided to pull out ahead of the match because of a problem with her lower back.
Williams' injury had originally cast doubts over her participation in the French Open, which starts on May 27, but she is upbeat about her prospects of playing at Roland Garros.
The 13-time Grand Slam champion admitted: "I've been playing a lot and my body is getting used to a lot of matches again. My form is good heading to Paris."
Williams has been in good form on clay in recent weeks, winning this month's tournament in Madrid, and will head to Paris looking for only her second French Open title.
