Boro defender's injury blow
Middlesbrough, 14:20, October 16, 2008 ,
Middlesbrough centre-half Robert Huth has been told he will be out for at least a month with an ankle injury.
The German international has damaged ligaments and there were fears that he would need an operation but thankfully that is not the case, although he is still going to be out for at least four weeks.
"It's more or less what we expected," Southgate told the Gazette. "Robert is already working hard in rehab and we'll look forward to his return as soon as he is fully fit again."
Emanuel Pogatetz is available again after suspension but Chris Riggott is likely to continue to deputise for the German.
Meanwhile, Southgate will give a late fitness test to Mido after he picked up a groin injury whilst away with Egypt.
