Middlesbrough are interested in taking Lyn keeper Eddie Gustafsson but apprently face competition from Fulham for his services.
The Philadelphia-born player has become one of the best keepers in the Norwegian top flight and would be very keen on a move to the Premiership. But whether Boro would really want to pay big money for a keeper when they have Ross Turnbull and Brad Jones remains to be seen.
Gustafsson himself has claimed his agent has told him that Boro are interested in his services and he would be keen on a move.
"Obviously playing in The Premier League is my dream," he said. "My agent has told me they [Middlesbrough] are interested.
"It is very flattering and moving there would be great."
Lyn head coach Kent Bergersen has confirmed the 31-year-old is in talks regarding a move.
"There is nothing concrete about Eddie's future," he told TV2 Sporten. "He may remain with Lyn if he cannot find an agreement with another club."
