Keeper poised to sign

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Ross Turnbull wants to commit his future to the club by penning a new deal next year.
The 23-year-old has been a revelation for Boro this season and boss Gareth Southgate has wasted no time in opening talks over a new improved deal at the Riverside Stadium.
Turnbull has yet to sign on the dotted line but hopes to do so as soon as the hectic festive period is out of the way.
"Contract talks are ongoing. There is nothing agreed as yet but we are getting closer," Turnbull said. "Obviously it will be great when it is settled but it's not something that would affect my game.
"Signing new contracts is part and part of football but you don't take it on to the pitch with you."
