Prolific striker fancies Boro switch

Middlesbrough, 14:08, October 21, 2008 ,

NAC Breda striker Matthew Amoah hopes his red hot form can seal him a New Year move to the Premiership with Everton or Middlesbrough.

The 27-year-old Ghanaian international is in the form of his life in the Dutch Eredivisie as his nine goals in six matches have shot surprise package NAC into top spot on the back of a run of five straight wins.
Amoah also bagged a World Cup qualifying hat-trick for the Black Stars against Lesotho last week and admits his dream is to join a Premiership club.
Everton and Boro scouts have been keeping tabs on the ex-Borussia Dortmund striker's progress and there are rumours that NAC may be unable to refuse a January bid.
He said: "If a club offers a few million, then perhaps that will make NAC happy.
"I've always dreamed of playing for England. As a boy I always thought about Arsenal. But also hearing about clubs like Everton and Middlesbrough is wonderful."
