Tuncay in Fulham link
Middlesbrough, 11:16, June 3, 2009 ,
Middlesbrough star Tuncay is expected to leave the Riverside over the summer and has been linked with a move to Fulham.
The Turkey international enjoyed a fine personal season although his eight goals for Gareth Southgate's side failed to stop Boro being relegated from the Premier League.
His performances led to the 27-year-old being linked with a move to Arsenal but now the latest reports say Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is interested as he looks to strengthen his squad following the Cottagers' qualification for next season's Europa League.
Southgate has accepted several of his star players will leave over the summer and Tuncay is among that group. He has two years left on his current contract and the Boro boss will want a decent fee for the striker, who joined from Fenerbahce two years ago.
However, it's thought Fulham would only be prepared to offer £4million at the most and that might not be enough for Tuncay with several other top-flight clubs also bound to be keen.
