Bluebirds victorious in Lions' Den

Two goals inside three minutes early in the second half swept Malky Mackay's Cardiff to the club's first away win at Millwall for 30 years as they won 2-0.

Star midfielder Peter Whittingham, having seen a brilliant first-half free-kick controversially disallowed, opened the scoring after 53 minutes with a rasping 20-yard left-footed shot. And barely two minutes later the Bluebirds cut the Millwall defence apart with a slick move which was clinically finished off right-footed by Craig Noone from six yards.
