Kenny Jackett was satisfied with Millwall's first-half showing against Crawley but what followed left him bitterly disappointed.
The Lions boss watched on as his side lost 2-0 to the newly-promoted npower League One side on Saturday and he will be looking for a big improvement in the coming weeks ahead of the new season. Jackett told the club's official website: "I thought the first half was pretty good, we had some chances and didn't really deserve to go in a goal behind at the break. "But in the second half we were disjointed and didn't have enough power to get back in the game through the spine of the team. I was disappointed with the way we fell away." On the plus side for Jackett, Darius Henderson and Liam Trotter got their first taste of pre-season action. The Lions chief added: "That's their first games of the season and both of them now will quickly need to build on that."
