Dons pick Poppies for pre-season

MK Dons have arranged a pre-season friendly against Kettering.

Karl Robinson's side will use the game against the Poppies on July 28 as preparation for what they hope will be an npower Championship campaign during the 2012-13 season. The match will take place at Nene Park, formerly the home of Rushden & Diamonds, and will kick-off at 3pm. The Dons played Kettering in a pre-season friendly in the summer of 2010, beating them 4-1 at Rockingham Road courtesy of goals from Angelo Balanta, Sam Baldock, Stephen Gleeson and Jermaine Easter.
