Tavernier back at Toon
Milton Keynes Dons,
Newcastle have recalled James Tavernier from his loan spell at MK Dons.
Tavernier had been due to spend the remainder of the season with the npower League One promotion chasers but injuries at the Sports Direct Arena have forced Magpies manager Alan Pardew to trigger a 24-hour clause in the deal.
Influential defender Fabricio Coloccini is out of Newcastle's fixtures over the Easter period and Pardew wanted 20-year-old Tavernier as cover.
Tavernier, who has been injured himself recently, can play at right-back or in central defence.
He made seven appearances for the Dons since joining Karl Robinson's side at the end of January.
