MK Dons boss Karl Robinson felt his side's 2-1 Capital One Cup giant-killing of Blackburn was a "comfortable" victory.

Luke Chadwick netted a second-half brace before David Goodwillie nodded in an 83rd-minute consolation goal for Rovers as the Dons claimed a richly deserved place in the third round. Robinson said: "It was comfortable, I'm very pleased because it was a very professional performance. "We looked very accomplished and we move on from here with tremendous mental strength and belief in ourselves. "We looked good but I just don't want to go over the top because it's a cup game and we need to move on from here very quickly. "Luke Chadwick likes scoring goals in August but he needs to liven himself up in September, November and December as well. He was just very good, the fact that he was in the right place at the right time shows that he's a good footballer."
