Seaside test for Shrimps

Morecambe will travel to npower Championship play-off finalists Blackpool in the first round of the Capital One Cup.

The tie will be played in the week commencing August 13 and is the first time the Lancashire neighbours have been paired together in a competitive fixture. In last season's first round, Jim Bentley's men overcame Barnsley 2-0 before going down by the same scoreline to Millwall in round two.
