Sheffield United are considering a £250,000 offer for Motherwell striker Chris Porter in January, according to reports.
Blades boss Kevin Blackwell is keen to bolster his attacking options in advance of a promotion push and has been keeping tabs on the former Oldham goal-getter.
The 24-year-old was snapped up on a free transfer from Oldham in the summer of 2007 and scored 18 goals in his first season.
