Midfielder out to retain role

Motherwell, 16:30, November 9, 2009 ,

Ross Forbes says he plans to continue his role as Motherwell penalty taker, despite missing from the spot against Hamilton.

The 'Well youngster saw his first-half spot-kick saved by Tomas Cerny, his first miss from the spot this season, but Forbes hopes to retain the role in the future.
The midfielder told the Daily Record: "It was disappointing to miss the penalty but I will be confident enough to step up and take the next one.
"That's the first I've missed so my record's now four out of five but when I stepped up I was confident of scoring - and unless I'm told otherwise I'll gladly take the next one."
