Newcastle are reported to have made an £12million offer for Luuk De Jong but FC Twente do not want to sell.

The Magpies dismissed claims earlier in the week that they had launched an £8million offer for the striker but now reports in the Dutch press say a £12million bid has gone in.
Such an offer is much closer to Twente's £15million valuation but the Dutch club are reluctant to sell and could still knock back the bid and hold out for more.
It is clear that Toon boss Alan Pardew is keen to get the Dutch international on board but he may have to break the bank to do so.
The 21-year-old was a revelation for Twente last season when scoring 25 league goals in 32 appearances, and it is the kind of form that may convince Pardew to push the boat out.
Benfica are also said to be keen and Twente will be hoping a bidding war is on the cards.
