Barton ruled out again

Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton has been ruled out for the rest of the year after suffering medial ligament damage against Wigan.
The turbulent career of the one-cap England international has taken another twist, after he was forced off during the first-half of the 2-2 draw at St James' Park.
The Magpies expect Barton to miss around eight weeks, which means he will not be seen in a black and white shirt until 2009.
Summer signing Danny Guthrie lost his place to Barton when he returned from a lengthy suspension and will hope to force his way back in after replacing him against Latics.
