Cabaye calls for stars to stay

Yohan Cabaye has urged the Newcastle board to keep the club's star players following reports Demba Ba could be on the move.
Newcastle performed well above expectations last season when finishing fifth in the table and it comes as no surprise to see the club's star players linked with a move away from St James' Park.
Cabaye has himself been linked with a move to Manchester United but the Frenchman is happy to stay and hopes owner Mike Ashley can resist any offers that come in.
Strikers Ba and Papiss Cisse are being targeted by other clubs and Cabaye says it is crucial they stay if Newcastle are to progress as a club.
"Demba scored so many goals for us so it's going to be important to keep him - and keep all the big players," Cabaye revealed. "I hope the board are going to do the right things to keep them.
"I don't know if we can go higher than last season, but we have to keep doing the right thing."
