Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye is optimistic his side can secure Champions League football ahead of their final two games.
Manchester City visit the north East on Sunday and Cabaye insists there is no reason why Newcastle cannot get a result against the league leaders. Newcastle are currently fifth in the Premier League but fourth-placed Spurs only lead Cabaye's side on goal difference and the Frenchman remains confident they will be playing Champions League football next season. He told the Chronicle: "We're still in the same position, and we have a very, very big game against Manchester City on Sunday. "We have a chance to qualify for the Champions League, and this is a very important match. We looking forward to this game. "We have our objectives, and we needed to win at Chelsea, which sets us up nicely on Sunday."
