Cabaye linked with La Liga

Barcelona are being linked with Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye but a move for the player looks highly unlikely at this time.

Cabaye has been a revelation for the club since arriving from Lille and boss Alan Pardew has already had to fight off offers from rival clubs who were keen to take him away.
Tottenham tried and failed just before the transfer window closed, while Manchester United were also heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old French international.
Reports in the Spanish press now claim that Barca are keen but it looks as though a move to the Nou Camp is an unlikely one considering the midfielders they already have on board.
There is so much competition in the Barca squad that former Arsenal ace Cesc Fabregas is struggling to get a game so it is unlikely they will want to add Cabaye to the mix unless they ship players out first.
