Norwich are being linked with a move for Newcastle defender David Edgar as Glenn Roeder looks to strengthen.
The 21-year-old has struggled for first-team action at St James Park this season and Roeder is ready to offer him the chance of regular football at Carrow Road.The Canaries are short on central defenders after Dejan Stefanovic was ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, while John Kennedy could return to Celtic in January.
Roeder has been warned that cash is limited at Carrow Road but it looks as though there is room to wheel and deal and Canadian international Edgar is a target.
