Injury boost for defender

Newcastle have been handed an injury boost by defender Steven Taylor who has declared himself fit for Saturday.
Newcastle will be looking to back up their excellent draw at Old Trafford on Sunday with a home victory over Bolton at St James Park and the 22-year-old is confident that he will be fit for the game after pulling out of England's Under-21 match against Slovenia on Tuesday.
"I saw the England club doctor and, after he had examined my ankle, we both agreed that it would be too risky to play against Slovenia," he revealed.
"I had a scan on my ankle and there's nothing broken or anything like that. "I should be back in training in the next couple of days and I'll be ready for Bolton."
