Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan believes his side will "beat most teams at home" if they repeat their performance at Man Utd.
The Magpies held the reigning English and European champions to a 1-1 draw to go some way to banishing memories of January's 6-0 thumping at Old Trafford.
And Keegan has now urged his side to build on the result and to make St James' Park a fortress.
Keegan told the club's website: "The Man Utd draw gives us a platform to build on.
"If we get performances like that with that commitment, we will beat most teams at home."
He added: "We must not get carried away because it's only one game, but it was a terrific performance and the challenge is now can we go and play at home like that.
"If we can, nobody will beat us much at St James' Park.
"There were a huge number of positives to come from the game, not least the result, and I have got to say we are very confident going into Bolton."
