Midfield boost for Pardew

The combative midfielder suffered a head injury that required stitches in the impressive win at Stamford Bridge last time out but has been declared fit to face title-chasing City on Sunday.
Defender Danny Simpson missed the win at Chelsea and will undergo a late fitness test to see if he can be involved on Sunday, while boss Alan Pardew has no fresh injury or suspension concerns.
