Midfielder back for Donny clash

Newcastle United, 09:45, March 23, 2010 ,

Joey Barton is back in the Newcastle squad for the game with Doncaster but will have to settle for a place on the bench.

The midfielder is back fit after recovering from a broken foot that has kept him out since last September and he will take his place on the subs bench as the Magpies continue the push for promotion.
Elsewhere, central defender Mike Williamson looks set to play with a protective cast on his broken hand after Fitz Hall picked up a hamstring injury against Bristol City on Saturday.
"We actually had clearance for him to play at Bristol with a cast, so that's not a problem," boss Chris Hughton revealed. "Other players have done it before and it goes with the regulations. For us, it's just to make sure he is comfortable with it."
Peter Lovenkrands and Alan Smith are still out with ankle injuries but hope to be back fit for the game with Nottingham Forest on Monday night.
