Nolan's praise for Toon youngsters

Newcastle United, 14:39, September 22, 2009 ,

Newcastle's Kevin Nolan has tipped the Magpies youngsters to shine if they are called into action against Peterborough tonight.

The former Bolton midfielder has been in fine form this season but Nolan expects some of the club's emerging talent to be given a run out in the trip to London Road.
He said: "We don't know exactly what's going to happen. He might decide that a few of the lads who have played all the games might need to rest out, but we all want to play.
"It's another football match. It's one we all want to be involved in, but it's entirely up to the manager.
"It would be nice to see the likes of Ryan Donaldson and Kazenga LuaLua. We've got another lad called Haris Vuckic, who's looking sharp in training.
"Don't get me wrong - we don't want to just throw them all in. We want to see them with a bit of experience."
It is unlikely Donaldson, LuaLua and Vuckic will all start against the Posh but all three are in line for a place on the bench and may be involved at some stage.
Boss Chris Hughton may have to manage without Danny Simpson, who is doubtful after picking up an ankle injury against Plymouth at the weekend, while defender Zurab Khizanishvili is cup-tied following his loan move from Premier League side Blackburn Rovers.
