Portsmouth are set to step up their interest in Newcastle's want-away defender Habib Beye following their takeover.
Following Sulaiman Al Fahim's takeover at Fratton Park they have confirmed Paul Hart as boss and he will now look to add to his squad.
Beye has made it clear he does not want to stay at Newcastle who remain in a state of flux following their relegation at the end of the last campaign.
