Spurs opener for Magpies

Newcastle entertain Tottenham on the opening day of the 2012/13 Barclays Premier League season on August 18.

A tricky trip to Chelsea follows a week later, with Aston Villa visiting Tyneside on September 1. Derby clashes against Sunderland are pencilled in for October 20 (away) and April 13 (home). Alan Pardew's men travel to Manchester United on Boxing Day and welcome Everton on New Year's Day. They end the season with a tough home game against Arsenal on May 19.
