Alan Pardew says he has no interest in leaving Newcastle and succeeding Harry Redknapp as Totttenham manager.
Redknapp and Spurs parted company on Wednesday night and the rumours had suggested Pardew could be one of the contenders for the job given how well he has done at St James' Park.
Given Pardew's success at Newcastle, his link with London and his ability to work within a budget it is no wonder his name has been mentioned in connection with the job.
However, when asked about becoming the next Tottenham manager Pardew said he was very happy at Newcastle and had no plans to leave north east.
"No (the job would not interest me)," he said, when asked about the role while part of the BBC panel for Euro 2012.
"Newcastle has gone terrifically well, we've got such a good young side and I'm just hoping we keep it all together for next year and have another go at it because we'll have a good go."
Pardew went on to say that he thought Redknapp had done a great job and was shocked by his departure from White Hart Lane.
