Newcastle United, 16:14, August 31, 2009 ,

Newcastle have agreed a season long loan deal for Spanish striker Xisco to go to La Liga side Racing Santander.

The £5.7million former Deportivo La Coruna centre-forward has been a flop on Tyneside, scoring his only goal on his debut against Hull City before spending long periods out injured.
The Spanish club confirmed this move today which paves the way for free agent Peter Lovenkrands to return to St James's Park.
The Danish international forward made an instant impact when he arrived during the January transfer window, scoring three times in eight starts and three sub appearances.
