Toon plan Ligue 1 raid

Newcastle have again been linked with Lille's Mathieu Debuchy and are expected to make a summer move for the defender.

Boss Alan Pardew has picked up a number of players from the French league since his arrival at Newcastle, with Yohan Cabaye and Sylvain Marveaux amongst his captures.
Pardew has been linked with Debuchy, Cabaye's former Lille team-mate, on a number of occasions and Newcastle scouts watched the right-back in action on Sunday night for France.
Debuchy was one of the few French players to impress on Sunday as they grabbed a 3-2 win over Iceland, having been 2-0 down at one stage.
Pardew is expected to make a move for the 26-year-old this summer, with questions remaining over Danny Simpson's future, but it remains to be seen whether or not Newcastle will launch a raid before Euro 2012 kicks off.
